Pride has never been love. It never MEANT love. Love is NOT pride. Pride is supposed to make you embarrassed. It's supposed to make you wobble confidently and lift your nose above others. It's supposed to be ugly and disdainful. Love is never supposed to be ugly nor disdainful. You never have to agree otherwise. Never.
Those who say pride is love PERVERT the language. As in, they make the language not be right and correct for the name of their movements. This is done to hide the movements true goals. Lucifer was prideful.
