Start the clock was simply an aviation reference made in the context of a series of drops that were aviation related in one way or another. As usual people see what they want to see and conflation, in turn with confirmation bias, took it from there.

That's fine. But just like anon stated above. This is conflation. Clockfaggotry is based off the Q drop stating start the clock as a marker. The history of chess has nothing to do with it. Learn what conflation is and avoid it in your arguments. This will go a long way toward establishing credibilty with your thinking. And posting your thoughts here.
