The Secret Service is providing Kimberly Cheatle, its former director who resigned last month, a security detail in an unprecedented effort to protect a former agency chief amid lingering national anger about the myriad security lapses under her watch. Those failures led to the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump and the killing of firefighter Corey Comperatore, according to three sources in the Secret Service community.

Cheatle has faced an ongoing firestorm of fury from American citizens, and even rank-and-file Secret Service special agents and officers, over the agency’s failures that created an opening for shooter Thomas Crooks to open fire on Trump, piercing his ear and killing Comperatore in front of his family and wounding two other rally-goers.

Using DPD, instead of the Washington Field Office, could be a way to keep the knowledge of Cheatle’s protection to a more limited number of agents or it could simply be a manpower issue.

President Biden ordered the taxpayer-funded protection for Cheatle, these sources say, because she was facing numerous threats, especially on social media from individuals angered by the agency’s failures on July 13 and her lack of transparency during her testimony to the House Oversight Committee July 22. She resigned the next day.

Donetsk shopping center ablaze after Ukrainian strike

Up to 100 people are believed to have been inside the mall when it came under attack

A large fire has broken out at a shopping mall in the Russian city of Donetsk after the building was shelled by Ukrainian forces, the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, said on Friday.

Footage of the blaze at the Galaktika center has been shared on social media. TASS initially reported that the building caught fire after the Petrovsky district of the DPR capital was shelled.

Pushilin later confirmed the attack, writing on his official Telegram channel that Ukrainian forces had targeted the area at around noon on Friday, causing the mall to catch fire. The blaze spread to more than 10,000 square meters. Donetsk Central Hospital No. 14 was also damaged in the bombardment, he said.

Pushilin added that at least 11 civilians have been injured, including a teenager. Ukrainian forces reportedly conducted a large-scale attack on the city’s Petrovsky district throughout the day, using 155-mm artillery and kamikaze drones. Kiev has so far carried out 14 attacks and fired about 50 rounds of ammunition, Pushilin said.

Wannabe Nazis

One incident last Sunday sparked widespread outrage in Russia after a video filmed by the perpetrators spread online. In the clip, a pair of Ukrainian soldiers are seen gleefully imitating Nazis as they insult a confused elderly man.

The intention to mimic the force responsible for millions of deaths in the USSR during World War II – including in the part of the country that later became modern Ukraine – is unmistakable. One of the Ukrainian troops is seen in a distinct helmet with the insignia of the Schutzstaffel (SS), the military arm of the Nazi party and particularly infamous for its atrocities.

Both the soldier and the cameraman are heard speaking a mix of broken Russian and German, in a manner that Russian popular culture began to depict the invaders decades later, when the horrors of the Nazis had somewhat faded. Judging by the laughter heard in the clip, the Ukrainians found amusement in calling the elderly man a “Russian pig.”

NATO state to resume military conscription

Croatian Defense Minister Ivan Anusic has announced that draftees will undergo two-month training courses starting next year

According to Croatian media, the ministry expects the military to take in between 4,000 and 4,500 conscripts annually; they will be summoned every several months in four or five waves and sent to boot camps at the Pozega, Sinj and Knin military bases. They will be taught basic infantry skills, but not the more advanced specialist professions required in the military.

Men who are eligible for military service but wish to avoid it can get medical exemptions, a delay for academic reasons, or permission to serve in the civil service as conscientious objectors. The latter category will be given civil defense jobs or contribute to various social services.

Biden calls for new elections in Venezuela

The White House has tried to walk back the president’s remark, insisting that it was already “abundantly clear” who won the vote

US President Joe Biden has said that he supports Venezuela holding a new round of elections, as a number of countries have rejected the results of the latest vote in the South American nation. Caracas, in response, has accused him of intervening in Venezuela’s internal affairs.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro officially won the country’s presidential election last month, securing a third term in office. However, while countries such as Russia, China and Caracas’s regional allies have congratulated the incumbent on his victory, the Venezuelan opposition, most Latin American states and the G7 nations have refused to recognize the results, expressing “serious concerns” about the integrity of the electoral process.

Washington officials have declared that the election was won by Maduro’s main rival, the Western-backed opposition figure Edmundo Gonzalez. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has even gone on record stating that the White House officially recognizes Gonzalez as the president elect.

On Thursday, Brazilian President Lula da Silva and Colombian President Gustavo Petro, both of whom have also refused to recognize Maduro’s victory, called on Caracas to hold a new round of elections and invite international observers to monitor the process.

Caracas and the Venezuelan opposition have rejected the proposal, with both sides insisting that they had legitimately won the vote in July.

Shortly after Lula and Petro announced their suggestion, Biden was asked by reporters if he supported the idea of a new election being held in Venezuela in order to resolve the political crisis in the country. “I do,” the US leader said in response.

Shortly after, a spokesperson for the US National Security Council released a statement, clarifying that Biden was “speaking to the absurdity of Maduro and his representatives not coming clean about the July 28 election” and stressed that it was “abundantly clear” that Gonzalez was the true winner of the election.

In response, Maduro blasted the US for trying to meddle in Venezuela’s internal affairs. “In an interventionist manner, President Biden spoke about Venezuela’s internal matters, which concern only Venezuelans and their institutions. Half an hour later, some State Department spokespersons contradicted him. Who is in charge of US foreign policy?” the Venezuelan leader said, as quoted by the media.

Venezuela’s National Electoral Council (CNE) declared on July 28 that Maduro had officially won the country’s presidential election and ratified his victory, declaring that he had gained 52% of the vote, compared to 43% for Gonzalez.

The opposition, however, has claimed that the vote was rigged. Maduro’s previous reelection, in 2018, was also rejected by the opposition as well as the US, the EU and most Latin American states.

U.S. Hypocrisy On Supposed Iranian Meddling In The U.S. Election

US officials demand Iran not interfere with US domestic affairs, despite the decades long history of the US government's constant interference in Iran's domestic affairs.

The FBI is warning Iran not to meddle in the upcoming U.S. presidential election. That’s rich given that it was the U.S. government’s meddling in an Iranian election that is the root cause of the perpetual, ongoing, never-ending animosity between the two regimes today.

While U.S. officials and U.S. interventionists love to point to the 1979 Iranian revolution as the start of the adverse relationship between Iran and the United States, that’s only because they are loathe to recognize wrongdoing on the part of their own government — and especially the part that consists of the Pentagon, the CIA, and the NSA — that is, the national-security state part, which they look upon as their god.

The 1979 revolution in Iran was a direct consequence of U.S. meddling in the electoral process some twenty-six years before. Perhaps “meddle” is too soft a word though. Maybe a better word is “destroy.” In 1953, the U.S. national-security establishment destroyed Iran’s democratic process and laid the foundation for the 1979 Iranian revolution, which then led to the forever war of hostility by the U.S. regime toward the Iranian regime, a hostility that still goes on today.

In 1951, the Iranian parliament elected Mohammad Mossadegh to be prime minister of the country. Widely respected not only in Iran and in other parts of the world, Mossadegh was named Time magazine’s “Man of the Year.”

British officials, however, were not so impressed. That’s because Mossadegh nationalized British oil interests in Iran. To protect against British intervention to recover its oil interests, Mossadegh threw British officials out of the country.

Unable to recover their oil interests, the Brits turned to the U.S. government for help. In 1953, the CIA orchestrated a coup in Iran that resulted in 300 people being killed. The coup succeeded in ousting the democratically elected Mossadegh and restoring to power the unelected Shah of Iran, who proceeded to exercise brutal, omnipotent, dictatorial powers to maintain his iron grip on power. To support him in this endeavor, the CIA helped to train the Shah’s brutal national police force called the SAVAK, which was a combination CIA, FBI, Pentagon, and NSA. The SAVAK specialized in such dark arts as arbitrary arrests, indefinite incarceration without trial, torture, and extrajudicial execution.

The Shah became a loyal, compliant puppet of the U.S. government. Moreover, the British got their oil interests back. But it’s also worth mentioning that the U.S. government also earned the deep enmity of the Iranian people, who were made to suffer for 26 years under one of the most brutal tyrannies in the world, one that was fully supported by the U.S. government.

LGBTQ+ Pride Organisation Founder Faces Child Rape and Child Pornography Charges

The founder of a local “LGBTQ+ Pride” organisation in England has been charged with a series of child sexual abuse offences, including the rape of a child and making indecent photographs of children.

Stephen Ireland, 40, the founder and former director of Pride in Surrey, and a former Pride in Surrey volunteer, David Sutton, 26, were arrested and charged this week by the Surrey Police over a series of alleged child sex abuse crimes.

The pair have been jointly charged with 15 offences, including conspiracy to sexually assault a child, conspiracy to kidnap a child, arranging the commission of a child sex offence, and conspiracy to administer a substance with intent, Police Surrey said in a statement.

Ireland has also been charged individually with a further 22 offences, including the rape of a child under 13, causing a child under 13 to engage in penetrative sexual activity, making indecent photographs of children, possession of prohibited images of children, and distributing indecent photographs of a child.

Meanwhile, Sutton has also been charged individually with a further seven offences, including making indecent photographs of children, possession of prohibited images of children, possession of an extreme pornographic image, and distributing indecent photographs of a child.

According to the police, all the alleged offences are said to have occurred between August 2022 and July 2024.

Pride in Surrey, a pro-LGBTQ+ non-profit based in the London suburb of Woking, states that its “mission” is to “celebrate the inclusion and diversity of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT+) culture and community.”

The group said that it was first made aware of the allegations on June 12th and that both Ireland and Sutton were “immediately suspended from the organisation” and Ireland was removed as director. They have both since been removed entirely from the organisation.

“Like all of you, we are appalled and horrified at the charges which have been brought against the two individuals. We will fully cooperate with Surrey Police in any way they require to ensure justice can be served,” Pride in Surrey said.

“The alleged victims and their families deserve justice, and our thoughts are with them at what is sure to be an incredibly difficult time.”

Israel expects Britain, France and other US allies to join it in taking military action against Iran should the Islamic Republic launch a promised assault on Israel to avenge the killing of Hamas terror chief Ismail Haniyeh, Foreign Minister Israel Katz said Friday.

Katz made the comments as he met with the British and French foreign ministers making a joint trip to Israel, as international efforts to mediate a ceasefire in Gaza intensified, amid heightened fears in Israel that Iran and Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon could attack Israel in retaliation for last month’s killings of Haniyeh and Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr.

Katz told British Foreign Secretary David Lammy and French Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné “that Israel expects France and Britain to publicly clarify to Iran that it is unacceptable for it to attack Israel and that if Iran attacks, the US-led coalition will join Israel not only in defense but also in an attack against significant targets in Iran,” his office said in a Hebrew-language statement after the meeting.

“Israel cannot not respond strongly to attacks on it,” he added.

An English-language statement from the meeting, which was held in English, sent out by the Foreign Ministry softened Katz’s message and omitted the sentence about needing to retaliate.

Alabama Secretary of State Discovers THOUSANDS of ILLEGALS Registered to Vote in November’s Presidential Election

It doesn’t even have to be a swing state… State officials have discovered over 3,000 illegal voters registered on Alabama’s state voter rolls. This report comes following Secretary of State Wes Allen ordering the removal of all non-citizens from the election database.

During the officials’ review, the state found a whopping 3,251 individuals with ‘alien registration numbers’ who were registered to vote – despite it being a federal offense. The U.S. Constitution and federal laws unequivocally stipulate that only U.S. citizens are entitled to vote in federal elections.

Secretary Allen’s decisive action to remove these non-citizens from the voter rolls is a necessary step to rectify this situation. However, the discovery raises critical questions about how such a lapse occurred in the first place.

According to reports from WAFF, the exact method by which these individuals were able to register remains unclear.

However, reports have surfaced showing that Democrat and Biden-regime-funded NGOs have been providing instructions and collecting registrations when processing illegals who have just crossed the border. Illegals have also been able to pick up registration forms at Welfare and other government assistance offices in at least 46 different states, according to the NY Post.

“Millions” of illegals are taking advantage and hopping on the voter rolls.

“Every state but North Dakota, New Hampshire, Wisconsin and Wyoming gives applicants for either welfare benefits, driver’s licenses, or in some cases, mail-in ballots federal voter registration forms without demanding proof of citizenship.

There is currently no requirement on federal voting forms to provide proof of US citizenship, though it is illegal to falsely claim one is a citizen or for a non-citizen to cast a ballot in a federal election.

But millions of migrants with humanitarian parole, refugee or asylum status are eligible for benefits that would bring them to the offices where voter registration takes place.”

This situation is not only a violation of federal law but also undermines the core principles of our democratic process. It is both alarming and unacceptable that such a substantial number of non-citizens were able to infiltrate the voting system, casting doubt on the legitimacy of votes cast and the overall integrity of our elections.

It is also essential for non-citizens who have been found to have registered to vote illegally, to face appropriate legal consequences, including deportation for their crimes.

Allowing individuals who have violated federal laws to remain in the country undermines the rule of law and sends a destructive message that these illegal actions have no real consequences. The removal of these individuals from the country would not only be a necessary legal step but also a reaffirmation of the commitment to uphold the integrity of our electoral system.

Not only that, but the anti-American operatives undermining our rule of law and attempting to destroy our nation with this planned invasion and subversive coup of our elections need to face the appropriate repercussions as well.

Worldwide, fertility rates have halved from 60 years ago. The global average fertility rate is now around 2.4. This worrisome drop is approaching the 2.1 replacement level which is considered to be required for a stable population size.

Fertility rates vary significantly across countries and regions, with some countries having very high rates and others having very low rates. Countries in North America, Europe, Russia, China and some South American countries have fallen below the replacement level while some – for example in Africa, the Arabian peninsula and Afghanistan – have a fertility rate of 4 or more.

A knee-jerk reaction to sub-replacement level fertility rates could be one of the reasons Western governments are employing immigration-driven population growth to maintain population levels. It is these immigration policies that are causing concern to the indigenous peoples of Western nations.

She is expected to receive $107,180 a year for her services, based on a recent Remuneration Tribunal determination.

Hours after the 55-year-old's appointment was announced, the Liberal Party released a statement condemning the move.

"The Albanese Labor Government has continued its record of hypocrisy in appointing Labor mates to Government Boards. Today's announcement that failed former Labor Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk would be appointed to the board of Australia Post is treating Australians like mugs," the media release signed by Shadow Communications Minister David Coleman and Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume said.

The statement also accused Labor of waiting until Friday to make the announcement so it could avoid scrutiny during the parliamentary sitting week.

Mr Coleman said the appointment was "rank hypocrisy" and claimed it added further insult to injury that it was a "failed and unpopular" ex-premier chosen for the role.

"Australia Post is going through a significant reform process in an era of change and the last thing the board needs is for the Government to appoint one of its Labor mates whose poor record in public administration speaks for itself," he said.

After being assured that he can say whatever he wants, Scaramucci went on a tirade against his former boss.

China Launches Own Version of Starlink To Challenge US Dominance In Space

According to Chinese state media, the first batch of 18 satellites in the constellation dubbed “Qianfan” or “thousand sails” was launched into orbit by state-controlled Shanghai Yuxin Satellite Technology Company on Aug. 6. The entire project is a future network of 14,000 satellites, offering multiple services, including direct-to-device connectivity. Half of those spacecraft will be launched by the end of next year and another half by the end of 2027.

Starlink, owned by the U.S. company SpaceX, has provided Ukraine with internet and communication services, a critical element to sustain the nation in its war with Russia. As of Aug. 2, the network had about 7,000 satellites in orbit, making it the largest low-orbit constellation in the world.

Starlink’s capability had attracted the attention of the U.S. Department of Defense, which contracted SpaceX in 2021 to create a network of satellites known as Starshield to serve America’s defense and intelligence agencies.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) noticed as well.

In April, the regime’s PLA Daily newspaper, the official newspaper for the CCP’s People’s Liberation Army, accused the United States of “militarizing space.”

Chinese military researchers analyzed various capabilities of Starlink in 2022. They wrote that Starlink poses “potential dangers and challenges” to the CCP. The researchers called on the regime to develop new countermeasures that would include abilities “to disable some Starlink satellites and to disrupt the constellation’s operational system.”

Last year, scientists at the University of Aerospace Engineering, a PLA research university, proposed methods to “suppress” Starlink and Starshield’s communications, including electromagnetic interference and employing high-power microwaves or lasers to damage or destroy specific Starlink satellites.

In addition, Chinese defense journals have analyzed Ukrainian operations and the potential use of American technologies, including Starlink, in a future war against Taiwan, according to a Reuters report in 2023.

Gen. Stephen N. Whiting, head of U.S. Space Command, warned in April that China’s advances in space were “breathtakingly fast.”
