Chicago businesses are already boarding up their storefronts downtown ahead of Monday’s opening of the Democratic National Convention in anticipation of mass rioting and violence. Plywood shielding first began showing up Thursday morning as the city’s shopping district opened for business. “As we know, this city has a poor track record when it comes to protecting businesses,” Scott Shapiro, owner of Syd Jerome, told Chicago’s WLS-TV. “We felt it was more prudent to board up, since our customers and their employers have told them to stay home throughout the convention for their own safety,” Shapiro added. The result was a black market for goods and nationwide shortages . In the 40 years that ensued 20 million people died of starvation.
That is Kamala Harris’s great plan to get inflation under control. She plans on introducing that tomorrow or Friday. She’s going to institute controls and pass a federal ban on price gouging.

Kamala Harris rolls out economic plan with up to $1.7T in handouts
Kamala Harris traveled to the swing state of North Carolina on Friday to give her first policy address as Democratic presidential nominee where she vowed to create an 'opportunity economy' by building up the middle class.
The vice president said when the economy is strong 'America is strong' and rolled out a series of policy proposals she would push for in her first 100 days in office if elected president.
But she ended up bungling the announcement of her ban on price gouging instead mispronouncing it as 'price gauging.'
During her speech, Harris touted some of the policies advanced under the Biden administration and vowed to go further while setting a sharp contrast with her political opponent Donald Trump.
She claimed the proposals would provide relief for millions of families while reducing the federal deficit, but the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates her series of expanded tax credits, subsidies and support for homebuyers would increase the deficit by $1.7 trillion over a decade.

Early reports suggest there was a problem with its main cabin door.
The chartered 737 was forced to return to Milwaukee, where Donald Trump's running mate had appeared earlier with local police officers.
It comes only days after Trump's own plane was also forced to land with mechanical issues.
