The case of Peru's mysterious 'alien mummies' continues to deepen with new footage depicting three more apparent creatures, including a severed 'alien skull.'
Recorded by the cadre of anonymous Peruvian 'huaqueros' (tomb raiders) who are alleged to have unearthed most of the now roughly dozen or so eerie specimens, the video documents two 'corpses' each about five-foot tall and apparently not human.
Like the seemingly large and elongated 'alien skull,' both 'mummies' are coated in a white powder of fossilized algae, consistent with prior examples over the past year.
This shaky, handheld phone video comes as lawmakers on Capitol Hill have finally vowed to investigate these Peruvian oddities, in an effort to determine their origins.

FBI denies 'obstruction' accusation from GOP rep after Trump shooter's body cremated days after Butler rally

The FBI has responded to allegations from Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) who accused the bureau of “obstruction” over the release of Thomas Matthew Crooks’ body just 10 days after he attempted to assassinate former president Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania rally. Higgins, who is part of a bipartisan congressional task force investigating the assassination attempt, claimed the FBI is conducting a “scorched earth” investigation.
On August 5, Higgins, who is also a former police captain, attempted to view Crooks’ body as part of a personal inspection. However, he discovered that the FBI had already released the body for cremation just 10 days after the shooting. Higgins said that Crooks was cremated on July 23 in his preliminary report.

Security forces at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland were involved in a shooting early Saturday morning after suspects attempted to gain entry at the main gate outside the JBSA-Chapman Training Annex, officials say.Â
According to a press release from JBSA, security officials exchanged gunfire with the shooters around 4:30 a.m.
JBSA officials say this was an off-base shooting incident since it occurred near the main gate entry of the training annex - approximately three miles from the JBSA-Lackland base.Â
Military officials say there was no active threat to the facility.Â
The shooters are not known to have any military connections, according to the press release.Â
JBSA officials did not say if anyone was hurt in the shootout or how many shooters were involved.Â
JBSA officials initially called the suspects "active shooters" but San Antonio police are not categorizing this as an active shooter situation.Â
It is not clear if the shooting is being investigated by military officials or SAPD.Â
No other details were provided.Â
