'Baby Trump': 8 years later, he goes back to where it all started. Lands VIP tickets to Trump's rally in Wilkes-Barre Saturday
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - A 10-year-old from Pennsylvania got some VIP tickets to attend Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's rally this weekend. But it's not his first time supporting the former president at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre.
In fact, Hunter Tirpak made headlines there eight years ago.
In 2016 during the run up to the presidential election, at just two years old, the toddler made major headlines for his political views.
He was hoisted on stage by the former president during a campaign rally.
After Hunter proclaimed into the microphone that he was with "Trump," the crowd went wild in cheers.
He doesn't quite remember much of the monumental moment. But his mom says there was a method behind the move.
"He rocked the Trump hair, so we dressed them up," Hunter's mom, Jessica Tirpak, said. "We got him a suit, teased the hair a little bit, and he became Baby Trump."
