JBSA officials said no injuries were reported, and the suspect hasn't been arrested.

San Antonio police said there was an initial shooting around 2:15 a.m. also near the training annex. Security personnel said they heard several shots fired. After this incident, security added more armed guards as a precaution which impacted their response time to the second shooting around 4:30 a.m.

This sure looks like a foreign adversary probing the perimeter and using diversionary tactics to see if they can create a weak spot in base defenses. Apparently the car got away.
