Can someone explain this. I’m not here to talk poorly of Trump. I simply have a question.

In 2016 one of Trumps big points was he didn’t need special interests money. Donors and others didn’t like him because he didn’t need their money and they couldn’t control him. This antiestablishment point helped prop him up. In 2024 he takes 100 million from Miriam Adelson which of course has conditions to it. Why is he taking money now? I also don’t understand his big push with Israel. Look..I have Jewish friends. I’m all for world peace. I’m not against him supporting Israel but I am against him putting so much time, effort and energy into that support when America is being ripped apart from the seams. What happened to America first? Why does this time (campaign) feel so different? The plan has its hard parts to trust, it’s confusing parts to understand. And for me this is one of them. Clarity would be appreciated.
