It's not that easy anon. The aero industry has spent the last 30 years pulling "over design" out of its products They've cut every corner possible to "lean" out the products. That goal inevitably cuts down safety factors and reliability.
Combine that with a refusal to hold on to engineering data and records and an engineering workforce that was prevented from training its replacements and you get a stew of incompetence, greed, and failures.
This is all to satisfy the shareholders of course.
