Not the DNC. That was Seth Rich downloading Podesta's emails and other things. It's known that was not outside hacking because of the download speed (too fast except for thumb drive or simlar). The Russian hacking was into state and other election computers in an attempt to influence the election (on whose behalf, remains unclear).
That is an attractive theory, but the dates are wrong. That says Crowdstrike was investigating in May and June 2016. The Seth Rich (presumably) download was on July 5th. He was murdered July 10th. It's still possible that Crowdstrike identified him as the downloader, just not quite as you suggest. There may or may not have been hackers … someone could easily have planted that hacking remnant AFTER the files were downloaded, even if there had been prior attempts.
