My old Dem buddies have been flooding me with frantic calls, texts, and emails. Unlike Ro, I wouldn’t dream of airing those private conversations publicly,but the message is clear: they’re terrified of the idea of our movement joining forces with Donald Trump.
When I point out what the Democratic Party and their super PACs have done to sabotage our campaign, their response is always, “but Trump is worse.”
Here’s an idea: stop suing us. Let us debate. Quit rigging the media and the polls. It’s a simple formula, people—get with it.

Justices allow Arizona to enforce proof-of-citizenship law for 2024 voter registration

A divided Supreme Court on Thursday afternoon granted a request from the Republican National Committee and the Republican leaders of Arizona’s legislature to reinstate a state law that requires residents to provide proof of citizenship to register to vote using a form provided by the state.The court turned down a request, however, to reinstate the portion of the same law that would bar voters who register using a standard federal form from voting for president or by mail unless they provide proof of citizenship.
The vote was 5-4. In a brief unsigned order, three of the court’s conservative justices – Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Neil Gorsuch – indicated that they would have granted the RNC’s application to fully reinstate the law.
Four other justices – Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Amy Coney Barrett, and Ketanji Brown Jackson – indicated that they would have denied the RNC’s request in its entirety, keeping in place a ruling by a federal district court in Arizona blocking the state from enforcing the law.
Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Brett Kavanaugh did not publicly signal how they voted, but they must have provided the two remaining votes necessary to revive the portion of the law dealing with the state form.
The RNC and the legislative officials had asked the justices to act by Aug. 22, to give the state enough time to print ballots before the election.
The National Voter Registration Act of 1993 requires states to “accept and use” a standard form to register voters for federal elections. That federal form requires would-be voters to swear, under penalty of perjury, that they are U.S. citizens, but they are not required to provide proof of citizenship.
The Arizona law at the center of the dispute is known as H.B. 2492. Enacted in 2022, it directs county officials to attempt to verify the U.S. citizenship of anyone who attempts to register using the federal form. If the officials cannot do so – for example, because they do not have access to databases that would provide information about citizenship – the applicant must submit proof of citizenship (such as a passport or birth certificate) to vote for president or by mail. In a separate provision, the law also requires anyone who registers using Arizona’s state form to submit proof of citizenship..==.

I have researched the Intelligence Community, aka Deep State apparatus for many years. What President Trump outlines in that response is extremely accurate. The evidence for the corrupt and false presentations from the aggregate IC can be found in the example of 51 intel officials saying the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation. They did not misspeak, they lied.
Beyond the reasoning expressed by President Trump about “leaks”, the best part of his remarks pertains to his brutally honest acceptance that the Intelligence Community is corrupt overall. Yes, yes, it is. It is refreshing to hear someone say it openly, publicly and with no hesitation about the reality of it.
Imagine a world where the Intelligence Community controls the outcomes of politics. A world where the sitting president of the United States has a national intelligence apparatus giving him advice that his political opponent, and those who support that opponent, should be considered “domestic terrorists.” Then accept that we don’t have to imagine it, because this is the reality of the current situation.
They started out by saying Trump supporters were extremists, then went through a phase normalizing government hatred by saying unmasked and unvaccinated people should be placed in camps, and now the evolution of
Trump supporters and our military being the largest domestic terrorist threat.

These are documents extracted via a FOIA lawsuit against the Biden administration. Can you imagine the apoplectic “Threat to Democracy” media if these same words of advice were said by a President Trump group about supporters of Barack Obama.
Yet, it is exactly the Obama era shift to fine tune the domestic intelligence apparatus that has created this dynamic.
Elevator Speech:
(1) The Patriot Act turned the intel surveillance radar from foreign searches for terrorists to domestic searches for terrorists.
(2) Obama/Biden then redefined what is a “terrorist” to include their political opposition.
In the era shortly after 9/11, the DC national security apparatus, instructed by Vice PresidentDick Cheney, was constructed to preserve continuity of government and simultaneously view all Americans as potential threats.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) were created specifically for this purpose.
After 9/11/01, theelectronic surveillance system, that was originally created to monitor threats from abroad, was retooled to monitor threats inside our country. That is when all of our electronic ‘metadata’ came under federal surveillance.

That inflection point, and the process that followed, was exactly what Edward Snowden tried to point out.
What Barack Obama and Eric Holder did with that new construct was refine the internal targeting mechanisms, so that only their political opposition became the target of this new national security system.
The problems we face now as a country are directly an outcome of two very distinct points that were merged by Barack Obama. (1) The post 9/11 monitoring of electronic communication of American citizens; and (2) Obama’s team creating a fine-tuning knob that it focused on the politics of the targets.

♦ To stop him in 2024, the U.S. Secret Service permitted a 20-year-old with a backpack, range finder, drone and long rifle, to walk into a Trump rally, set up position on a rooftop next to the USSS operating team, and fire eight shots at less than 150 yards at President Trump’s head, wounding his ear.
We can see clearly that President Trump accepts this reality as noted in the Daily Mail interview.
