Socialism and Communism are both bad because the needs and worth of the general population are determined by a few and wealth distribution is mandated; therefore, it's not "giving" by the wealthy but theft by the government to the detriment of all.
The bible teaches what is known as Distributism. It looks very similar to socialism but giving by the "haves" to the "have-nots" is done freely. The key is it is NOT forced, rather it is encourage and celebrated when done.
