The ones who write the history generally never see a battlefield. They’re survivors, not necessarily victors.

I am not entirely concerned about losing our history, so much as I am concerned about losing the elements that cause people to fail.

They say we’re doomed to repeat history if we don’t know it, but many of us don’t know the real history and we’re repeating it anyway.

Maybe it’s the history that’s keeping us trapped in these terrible cycles.

How’s that for off-plantation thinking ?

My favorite phrase is “you don’t know what you don’t know.”

Maybe unfortunately, it’s set me up for trying to find the nuggets of things I don’t know… and then I end up at “for all I think I know, I know nothing.”

I’ve never been one to read the old philosophers, but they just might have a truth that echoes through time and space.

Emerald sounds like she’s onto something but this anon thinks the credit score/FICO stuff already subjects law-abiding citizens to obey the government.

In order to have a score, you have to use credit cards.

In order to buy a house, you have to have a good score.

In order to get a good score, you have to work a paid-on-the-table (vs under) job that sends a portion of your earnings to the gov, and pay your bills and credit cards on time. (On their time)

The house sits on land that is under ownership of the state.

Even after paying off a 30 year mortgage, resident still has to pay property taxes and utilities, never actually owning their property.

How long has it been since we were able to stake a claim on land and righteously defend it?

I can’t imagine we can live like that again while the internet exists.

Something about being observed changes behavior. Having eyes in the sky has changed a lot of behaviors.

(funny how a “sky daddy” used to be considered outlandish and delusional by atheists but it’s a real raw reality now)

How did he not acknowledge the agreement started 4 months prior to “covid-19” being uttered ?

It wasn’t until January 2020 that Covid-19 became a word, supposedly detected in china in December ‘19.
