🚨 A parent has informed me that the Kenton County School District is trying to talk to FIRST GRADERS about “sexual orientation, gender identity, and/or gender expression.”
It is deeply disturbing that the Kenton County School District is attempting to discuss sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression with children as young as six-years-old. Our students should be focusing on essential subjects that prepare them for the future — math, science, history, reading, and writing — not on inappropriate topics that have no place in a first-grade classroom.
Kentucky parents deserve to know that their children are being educated in a safe environment, free from the influence of radical WOKE ideologies that seek to undermine the values of our communities. I stand with the parents of Kenton County who are rightly outraged by this blatant attempt to introduce such sensitive and complex topics to young children who are not equipped to understand or process them.
The decision to discuss sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression with first graders is not only inappropriate but also raises serious questions about the intentions of those behind this initiative. Kentucky must do more to protect our children from those who would seek to indoctrinate them at a very young age.
This is why I am calling for a full investigation into Kenton County School District to determine how this decision was made, who is responsible, and what can be done to prevent such disgusting efforts from happening again.
When elected to the Kentucky House of Representatives, I will fight to ensure that our schools are focused on providing a high-quality education that prepares our children for success in the real world. I will work to safeguard our classrooms from being used as platforms for pushing radical social agendas and to protect our children from being subjected to discussions that are entirely inappropriate for their age.
