Every accusation by a lib is a confession of wrongdoing done or planned by them or their cohorts. So accusations provide specific information for digging up the truth about them. Let's reflect back their accusations with increased details and intensity.
RR sounded atypically sincere when he was talking about uniting the country, blah, blah, blah at the 12 Russians press conference yesterday. Slim possibility he has some residual patriotism.
More likely he told POTUS-"Guess what, "boss", Bob and I are going to try to screw up your summit with Putin by releasing phony indictments against some fictitious and no importance Russian military guys on Friday. We hope the dems keep you in this muh Russia box for the next 2 years because we feel so important being able to continue to misuse the Justice system."
Some commentators make a distinction-not a "target", but may still be a "subject" of the investigation. I do not know the legal significance of those terms.
