Christians aren't commanded to support everything the Jews do, anon, they are commanded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and to bless Israel. Jacob was Israel. God changed Jacob's name to Israel. God said He would bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel. God was speaking to Jacob/Israel when He said that.
"All nations will rise up against Israel."
There is a remnant of the Jews whom God will reconcile to Himself: the 144,000 from the 12 tribes of Israel which descended from the 12 sons of Israel/Jacob.
It doesn't mean the whole nation of Israel as it stands today. That said, it does say they will look on the One they pierced, and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.

This is huge. A study found that the number of out of state residents who voted in NH in 2016 (virtually all from Massachusetts) but didnt meet the requirements to become residents EXCEEDED the gap by which Hillary beat Trump (a couple thousand). This could turn NH red.
Kellyanne Conway's husband asks what would make European allies question whether Trump is a 'stable genius'
The husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway seemed to mock President Trump on Friday as he responded to reports European leaders are questioning Trump's own assertion at a NATO press conference that he is a "stable genius."
"[W]hat could possibly make them think that," George Conway wrote on Twitter, sharing a link to a story about European partners disagreeing with Trump's self-assessment.

Northern Ireland – Explosive Devices Thrown At House Of Sinn Féin Leader
In a remarkable turn of events after a long period of peace in Northern Ireland, explosive devices have been thrown at the residences of two well-known Republican leaders. The first one targeted Sinn Féin President Mr Gerry Adams, the second was aimed at activist Bobby Storey. Belfast Police are investigating the attacks and urge anyone with information to come forward.
The now 69-year-old Mr Gerry Adams was the leader of Sinn Féin, the political party seen by many as the political helm of the IRA (Irish Republican Army), for 34 years in parliament. During the bombing attacks and the violence of the 1980s he survived many attacks on his life, including one where loyalist paramilitaries tried to shoot him.
He is still one of the most recognizable political figures in the UK.

Democrat: 'I regret’ telling Peter Strzok he deserves Purple Heart
Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., said he regrets telling FBI agent Peter Strzok in Thursday’s House Judiciary and House Oversight committee hearing that he deserves a Purple Heart medal for his testimony.
“I said something at the hearings yesterday about Purple Hearts which another network that is named for a four-legged animal has been making a big deal about,” Cohen told CNN, referring to criticism from Fox News.
“I regret using the term ‘Purple Heart,’” he continued. “I used it metaphorically, not literally. I never literally thought the Purple Heart should be given to agent Strzok. But I do believe that he was being attacked because the FBI and the Mueller investigation were under attack.”

Italy transfers migrants off ship, but refuses them entry
ROME (AP) - Italy transferred 451 migrants from a big fishing boat onto two border patrol vessels Saturday in the Mediterranean Sea, but the migrants' ultimate destination remained uncertain after Italy's hard-line interior minister insisted they should be sent to Malta or Libya instead.
Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, who has forced migration to the top of Europe's agenda by refusing to let rescue boats dock at Italian ports, vowed to remain firm Saturday as he created yet another standoff with hundreds of migrants stranded at sea.
Italian Premier Giuseppe Conte's office said three ideas were being considered: Redistributing the migrants among European countries, contacting Libyan authorities to arrange for their return, or keeping them on board the ships to screen them for asylum.

Israel strikes Gaza militant sites, Palestinians fire rockets
Israeli aircraft struck militant targets in the Gaza Strip and Palestinians launched dozens of mortar bombs and rockets from the enclave into Israel on Saturday, the Israeli military said.
There were no reports of serious casualties on either side of the border in the exchange of fire which followed a familiar pattern of retaliatory attacks by the Israeli military and Gaza's armed groups.

House Democrats Vow to Oppose Own 'Abolish ICE' Legislation
The House Democrats who wrote the legislation that would abolish all immigration enforcement across the United States now say that when their bill comes up for a vote, they will oppose it.
In interviews with Vox, Reps. Mark Pocan (D-WI), Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), and Adriano Espaillat (D-NY) vowed to oppose their own bill – that they wrote less than a month ago to abolish the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency — thus ending all interior enforcement of immigration.
On Thursday, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) announced that he would be bringing the House Democrats’ “abolish ICE” legislation up for a vote ahead of the congressional August recess, as Breitbart News reported. The move is to expose Democrats who would vote ahead of the 2018 midterms for ending all immigration enforcement.
