What was the confirmation?

If those are stars, you can precisely determine it.

I think Anons just assumed the time of year.

But using stars in the sky in this photo,

we should be able to tell not only time of year, but close in on the time of day as well.

Orientation

beside Clock Tower,

if any Starfags want to do

the work.

 

Evening, Winter is my guess;

but you can narrow in on time of day

by noting

Orion's Belt on horizon.
