Note, though, that the US Constitution requires a President to be a natural born citizen. So, even if "Maga people" were focused on it, it is a legitimate inquiry.

Noboday has claimed that Trump is anything other than a natural born citizen, so your argument has a false premise - that "Maga people" are inquiring about the ancestry, rather than the actual place of birth, of the candidate running for office.

Possibly a controversial take here, but…

I'm a US citizen and patriot. However, all the reactionary comments that the US needs to "show" Turkey (or any other country) what happens when you harm a US citizen are somehow off the mark, imho.

Maybe start by asking why the rest of the world hates us is in order, instead of just demanding they treat our citizens with dignity and respect.

Policing the planet, killing people, manipulating markets, taking down governments, etc. is why the rest of the world is sick of the US. The only way to truly right this is not to escalate when there is a reaction, but to root out the corrupt fifth columns in our country who have caused the rest of the world to hate us, who have committed all these crimes in our name.

I wish the safe return of any US citizen, but reflection is in order before launching out on tirades and actions. Reflection would show us who is to blame, and it is not the people in foreign countries harming US citizens.

Cleaning house is the right response.

I say this because these scenes are going to become more commonplace.
