Once the host dies they are freed from the body and become malevolent hosts
In the Bible, there are several passages referring to the importance of prayer and fasting. Oddly enough, Some versions like the NIV (New International version) OMIT fasting from these same passages.
In pop culture we have tons of parasite references. Venom in particular, where an off world parasite forms a symbiotic relationship with a man who hates Spider man.
We also have the vid from Michael James Parker, a formerly gay man who did a parasite cleanse, passed a ton of parasites, and no longer had the urge for anal sex. Before cleansing, he said he had a constant urge for anal sex and it felt like there was "a constant orgy porno playing in his mind"
No wonder they went all out on Ivermectin and Fenbendazole. They throw a monkey wrench in the entire scheme.
