Jesus spoke in analogies because it is the easiest way to teach. I got a really good analogy for Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Think of it as how Water can be in 3 different states: Solid, Gas, Liquid (technically 4 if you include Plasma but keeping it laymans). So in that way, God is found in different states to do His work. As the Heavenly Father, creator… as the perfect Son who died on the cross for his friends… and as the Holy Spirit in your heart and words. Et cetera.
