The Commonwealth Court overturned a Butler County judge’s ruling that officials did not have to count the provisional ballots of individuals whose naked ballots were rejected, reported the Penn Capital-Star on Thursday.

Naked ballots refer to those submitted without the required secrecy envelope and placed directly into the return envelope. Secrecy envelopes provide a layer of privacy and prevent unauthorized individuals from seeing the voter’s choice.

White House responds to Putin’s support for Harris

While in Congress, Walz secured over $2 million in funding for the institute affiliated with the University of Minnesota.

“For 80 years, the Hormel Institute has helped pave the way for Minnesota to lead in biomedical innovation,” the 2024 Democratic Party’s vice presidential nominee said in April, praising the research center. Walz added: “It was great to stop by their facilities yesterday in Austin to see that work in action.”The National Pulse previously reported that Walz is facing a Congressional investigation over his ties to China. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to keep IDF troops stationed along the Philadelphi corridor but Defense Minister Yoav Gallant wants something much different.

"The political-security cabinet must convene immediately and reverse the decision made on Thursday," Gallant wrote on social media in Hebrew about the recent vote in Netanyahu's favor.

"It's too late for the abductees who were murdered in cold blood. The abductees who remain in the captivity of Hamas must be returned home [through an exchange]. The State of Israel will reckon with all the leaders and murderers of Hamas, down to the last one."

The vote was made after the news broke that six Israeli hostages were found dead inside a tunnel located in Gaza's southernmost city of Rafah, also known as the last stand for the people of Gaza in the face of Israeli aggression.

According to an Israeli army statement, the six dead Israeli captives were "brutally murdered" by Hamas right before IDF troops arrived.

An American-Turkish activist has been shot dead by the Israeli military in the occupied West Bank.

Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, 26, died of her wounds after participating in a protest against illegal Israeli settlement expansion in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, the Palestinian Wafa agency reported.

"When she was shot, she was standing there doing absolutely nothing with one other woman - it was a deliberate shot because they shot from a very, very, very far distance," said the activist, who did not want to be identified.

In the aftermath of The Republican and Democratic conventions, Newsbusters has extensively studied the coverage provided by taxpayer-supported PBS.

The findings are exactly what one would expect from the far-left network.

According to the report, 72% of their coverage of the RNC was negative, and 88% of their coverage of the DNC was positive.

Key findings from Newsbusters’ study include:

Hostility for Republicans, Support for Democrats: PBS treated the RNC to 72% negative and 28% positive commentary. The DNC received far friendlier reception: 12% negative, 88% positive.

Question Tone for Republicans vs Democrats: 89% negative for Republican guests vs. 61% positive for Democratic guests; 68% negative for Republican delegates vs. 60% positive for Democratic delegates.

Capehart vs Brooks? Hardly: Washington Post columnist Capehart’s evaluation of the RNC was 10:1 negative, but “conservative” New York Times columnist David Brooks’ ratio was also negative, 2:1.

The Name That Shall Not Be Used: “Illegal.”

The core D.C.-based news team PBS brought the same team to both conventions included News Hour co-anchors Geoff Bennett and Amna Nawaz, Amy Walter of the Cook Political Report, political analysts David Brooks and Jonathan Capehart, and senior correspondent Judy Woodruff.

Woodruff had her own bias exposed in real-time during the DNC and was forced to apologize for peddling a fake story. Woodruff claimed a conversation happened between President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The accusation had real-world implications and was a sneaky way to backhandedly suggest that President Trump may have violated the Logan Act.

Unable to provide any sources for the story, Woodruff was forced to apologize.

She said on X, “I want to clarify my remarks on the PBS News special on Monday night about the ongoing cease fire talks in the Middle East.”

“As I said, this was not based on my original reporting; I was referring to reports I had read, in Axios and Reuters, about former President Trump having spoken to the Israeli Prime Minister.”

“In the live TV moment, I repeated the story because I hadn’t seen later reporting that both sides denied it. This was a mistake and I apologize for it.”

It appears that Keir Starmer’s internal changes within the Labour Party may have extended into the arrests of pro-Palestinian supporters, journalists, and activists, with critics suggesting that Britain’s Prime Minister is attempting to frame his opponents as “supporters of terrorism.”

The recent arrest of Sarah Wilkinson follows the earlier arrest of journalist Richard Medhurst, both of whom were charged under Section 12 of Britain’s Terrorism Act. The act’s language has been criticized for its broad scope, which allows for the possibility of charging individuals for a broad range of activities. For example, a person could be charged if they: (a) express an opinion or belief that is supportive of a proscribed organization, and (b) in doing so, are reckless as to whether a person to whom the expression is directed may be encouraged to support the proscribed organization.

This raises concerns, particularly within the context of Palestine. For instance, UN General Assembly resolution A/RES/38/17 (22/11/1983) reaffirmed “the legitimacy of the struggle of peoples for their independence, territorial integrity, national unity, and liberation from colonial domination, apartheid, and foreign occupation by all available means, including armed struggle.” In late July, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruled that Israel is operating as an apartheid occupation.

While Sarah Wilkinson did post on October 10, “Hamas airforce publish their incredible infiltration by air into the illegal Israeli settlements in the Gaza envelope – #GodSpeed,” these remarks could be interpreted in various ways. There should be an equal application of the law, and no one should be imprisoned solely for being galvanized by violence. If such a principle were to be applied, it would also need to encompass supporters of Israel who have espoused a striking zeal for Israel’s ruthless prosecution of Gaza’s civilian population.
