"Hello everyone, I will get back on the ball soon with more complicated cartoons.

August was very rough–a LOT of excruciating pain and I couldn’t even swear while enduring it. Swearing takes too much time and thought–all I could do is yell. But I’m finally starting to heal. What is that old saying, time heals all wounds and wounds all heels? Well, all the bad Karma I might have had was paid for by the currency of pain as far as I’m concerned. BTW, I had 28 radiation sessions. Each session cost $46,000! For that price this had better work–

I see the surgeon early in November. A lot of people have cancer and the wait is long. He will see if the cancer is gone for good. If not–well, I won’t even think of that now. I have a long break and will enjoy it.

As for my cartoons, it was hard to draw anything considering my health. Come to think of it, I am amazed I drew anything under the influence of chemo and pain pills. One good side effect was I also lost 20 pounds.

I plan on getting back on the ball with the cartoons–after all, it is an election year and our country is in peril. I also want to work on paintings–that’s what I want to do the most.
