Former President Donald Trump will attend a fundraiser in the Bay Area next week during his second trip to the region in roughly three months.

Presidential candidates coming to the wealthy nine-county area isn’t abnormal. What is abnormal, though, is that the billionaire hosting the event at his Woodside home on Sept. 13 is related to Jennifer Siebel Newsom, the wife of California Gov. Gavin Newsom.

The tickets for next week’s fundraiser, hosted by Tom and Stacey Siebel, are going for as much as $500,000 per couple, according to the Los Angeles Times. Tom, a software developer, is a second cousin once removed of the governor’s wife, meaning the two are separated by one generation.

A Tennessee school district has outlawed prayer on school property.

The principal at Broadview Elementary School, in Winchester, came under fire after he concluded a meeting with parents, teachers and students by mentioning God’s name.

“We pray to you, Father in Heaven, for your wonderful blessings and we ask those things in God’s name. Amen,” the principal prayed.

Someone in the meeting secretly taped the prayer and sent a copy to the Freedom From Religion Foundation – an anti-Christian group of atheists based in Wisconsin.

The atheists allege that federal law bans any government official from delivering a prayer. They argued the district should be neutral with regard to religion.

The school district conducted an investigation and ordered the principal to no longer offer prayers.

“Based on the recording, the principal acknowledged it was her voice,” School Director Cary Holman wrote in a recent email to the atheists. “I had my deputy director participate in the meeting with the principal. During this time, I provided the Tennessee Code referencing prayer in schools. The principal understands what is expected and will lead accordingly moving forward.” Holman closed by promising that all officials in the district would be reminded of the law.

Atheists are celebrating – and their also calling on their minions to hunt down other workers who might be engaged in Christian activity.

“School officials who wish to pray can do so on their own time and dime,” FFRF’s Annie Gaylor said. “Schools exist to educate, not to indoctrinate in religion. So it’s important that school functions avoid divisive religion.”

“If you see something, say something,” – that’s what the atheists are telling their followers.
