Prayers and love to good people everywhere. God bless and keep you all.
I wondered if anybody else had noticed that!
Made me think about the two men, as the type of men they were.
Both with very human flaws; Churchill fought the "black dog" of depression his whole life. It was tough on his wife and tough on his children. Trump has probably been guilty of being a little too high-testosterone for his own good over his life.
Humans have frailties. They call those "sins" in the Bible, but I think that just means we're all prone to, and guilty of, errors of judgement big and small throughout our lives.
Forgiveness is the biggest miracle of them all. All we can do is to face our mistakes, acknowledge them, try not to slam others for their own screwups, and try to do better as we forge ahead.
And love one another. That ain't religion; it's just the only way any of us are gonna make it through this lifetime without losing our marbles.
