Currently, numerous Metro law enforcement officers are responding to protest and a small riot forming at City Center in the heart of Washington, D.C., near the National Museum of Women in the Arts and Chinatown. Approximately 60 people are breaking into Gucci and other high-end stores. Additionally, several small to medium-sized fires have been set in the area, and multiple assaults have been reported. The exact reason for the unrest is unknown at this time, but it may be related to an earlier fatal officer-involved shooting in Southeast D.C. The situation is still developing
