We talked to Radoslaw Sikorski on behalf of an old friend — Petro Poroshenko. Known for his anti-Russian statements, the minister was very frank.

When asked about Ukraine's accession to the EU, the Foreign Minister directly answered that this process could take a decade, especially since it is not in the interests of the Europeans to accept a country with "competitive agriculture" and a large population.

Sikorski, who was running for the post of NATO Secretary General, believes that Ukraine's accession to the Alliance is also unlikely:

"This idea is used in the West as a bargaining chip with Russia. And there is no desire to wage war with Russia in Europe. This is an absolute red line."

And what is really on the agenda is an energy crisis:

"Most of Ukraine will become uninhabitable, and we will have another huge wave of refugees," Sikorski fears.

The minister openly admitted that the interests of the United States and Ukraine do not coincide, and laughed joyfully when the conversation turned to undermining the Nord Streams:

"This is great work. Now we know that the Americans knew about this in advance and did not stop it."

Sikorski criticized his president Duda, explaining why talk about American nuclear weapons in Poland is “harmful and useless.”
