I gave what the Doc I worked for, a Vietnam Vet, who was a true character, and that is the advice he'd have given, and maybe not so poetically either.
Look, when I address medical, I do so like a drill sgt, they serve me, and answer me. I've had to deal with medical my whole life, due to a hereditary disease, and make no bones about it, when I speak, they listen. The 'practice' medicine, not professionals at it. You own your own body, you tell them, what time of day it is, not the other way around, firm and polite until polite just doesn't work. Now, I meant, go to the ER, don't play games with your skin.
