Thanks for that, Anon. I'm getting to be a bit of an oldfag, and I don't have kids. But now that you mention it there are two college-aged kids who just got home from college recently. They live a couple of doors down and could very likely have re-named a router at their house.
The reason it was weird to me is that when Wikileaks broke the Molesta Emails I was on there a lot, just reading and researching. I noticed a link to download the TOR browser so,after confirming that it was not illegal to download it in my state, I did so.
I probably shouldn't have, but I was curious to see how differently it would make things run. Well, within a week of downloading TOR I got some weird phone calls that traced back to FBI HQ in DC. I never did call them, but I informed my attorney.
So anyway, just a little hypervigilant here. On the bright side of things. we practice our Second Amendment rights in our house, along with our God-given rights to own dogs that bite, cameras that record 24/7, a home-security system (maxed out,), etc. Also, our lawyers are on speed-dial.
So I'll stay optimistic that it's just the college guys who changed the name of their router. If it was the kids, this would be the first time they've changed the name in almost 10 years. But yeah, I'll give that some consideration, and I'll stay chilled.
Thanks again, Anon. . .
