The suspected gunman accused of trying to assassinate Donald Trump hid in bushes for nearly 12 hours, it has emerged.
Ryan Wesley Routh was detained on Sunday after shots were fire at the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach where the ex-president was playing a round. The attempt was foiled when a US Secret Service patrol member spotted the barrel of a rifle pointing through a fence around 4-500 yards from the hole Trump was playing.
