are your kids old enough to work?
can your wife work? Can you work opposite shifts to not pay daycare?
Don't be picky on jobs either. people have more skills than what they think. The misconception is that you think you need to know how to do the job in order to be accepted. You really only need about half and the other half is being a good listener and quick learner. All jobs train newbies to an extent. Most jobs aren't very technical.
I am a manager in a position that requires a four year degree getting paid 50K. I don't have one and I didn't fake anything or lie. Just started out as a low level worker, but became the master of my domain and was vocal that I wanted more and then moved up. That's how I didn't need the degree. Opportunity knocks more than you think, just have to listen a little close to hear it.
Sending my best hopes for you and your family. I hope in any way this was helpful. Much love!
