When God created Adam in His image he became (like it or not) the federal head of the human race. When Adam fell because of disobedience to God, he took with him the whloe human race who would come from his loins (or DNA, if you prefer). The connection wirh his Creator God was severed by sin - disbelief in God's word which is necessarily true because of God's character. Because God is eternal, the life He breathed into Adam was also necessarily eternal. But if the created denies the truth of its Creator, a lie is born that must necessarily cause a separation between God and His creation. The immortally created, having entertained a lie about the essence of its Creator must logially be cut off.

Jesus did not just become a man, he shed his God-man blood for man and thereby kept the law without which sin cannot be remitted.

What you are missing anon is the barrier that exists between a holy, just, righteous God and man.
God's answer to bridge that barrier caused by sin (disobedience to perfection/denial of ultimate reality/truth) is Jesus. Apart from Jesus' atoning death there can be no reconciliation between an impefect humanity and a holy God. Jesus bridges the gap - he fulfills the righteous law, the wages of sin is death, by bearing the penalty of sin for us.
