Sparked thoughts on Communism and why it's mislabled and how it needs to correctly be addressed by Conservatives, sparked by this Jubilee Trump supporters vs one woke guy discussion watched today
According to Communists, it's never been tried successfully. Why do you think that is?
ANSWER: GREED AND HUMAN LUST FOR POWER
The minute you pretend that you're giving the means of production to the workers, it all falls apart, because the workers don't produce without a goal of getting paid more for their efforts. There alway s will still be a hierarchy in Communism, the elites (bourgeois) and the proletariats who serve them. Government then becomes the bourgeois and their underlings the Proletariat. This is why Communism turns into Authoritarianism.
If it all falls onto the lowest common denominator to set the standard for production and achievement, everyone becomes the lowest common denominator because equality demands it because there is nothing to strive towards. There is no bonus for doing a better job than anyone else. There is just the same reward no matter how much work you do.
Government provides government subsidized housing that is subpar in both looks and functionality because it is built to the lowest common denominator and lowest amount of standards. You might be lucky with running water and electricity as well as sanitation. You will be treated like cattle. And the government will be your farmer deciding when you live (abortion) and die (euthanasia).
If there is no one to buy a product, but the product is given away for free (one to each person), then eventually you run out of a demand for the product until it either is used up or breaks.
If you can't sell anything, then there is no need to produce a large quantity of products. On an economy of scale, Communism doesn't work because it doesn't push scale, but rather scarcity.
I will say Capitalism to an extreme is bad just as well when it comes to greed. When one corporation used government lobbying to force its competition out of business, well that's one example that happens a lot every day. In the United States, this is happening on a very large scale. Kroger, the largest supermarket chain is buying up its competition and then saying only after the deal is done, will they lower their prices.
Red flag alert!

How can you trust a corrupt politician to not take absolute power if you give them it? How can you be sure your politician is any better than another politician?
