"Golden Age"

"Bronze Age"

Stone and Copper ages

Ur

Sea Peoples

Bronze Age Collapse

on and on

Admittedly, all of those big subjects are loaded (often overloaded intetionally?) with complex components and very foggy specific details that are hard for us to pin down today… even in "Our Information Age".

In light of some recent exchanges here at the wild wild west of qr…

What if, "The Bronze Age" is something of a modern misnomer? Bronze is basically an alloy primarily of copper and tin (often mixed with some other herbs and spices, intentional and/or accidental)

Bronze is best when made after refining to isolate for bulk copper and tin, then blended together (with heat again) in a controlled manner.

Gold, real clean gold, is a refinement.

a lot of raw skill and knowledge in refining and controlled blending

The sociological and technological precursors for a Golden Age would likely exist BEFORE a Bronze Age would come into existence. Not the other way around as for example in 'bronze before gold'.

It was a socioeconomic level concomitant with technological level that broke down during the "Bronze Age" of material science… that ended a "Golden Age" of human prosperity.

Seems a very similar pattern could repeat with a hiccup of our misnamed "Information Age" which is obviously not in alignment with a prosperous age for humanity right now. Thoughts?
