In statements Saturday, spokespeople for the FBI and the U.S. Attorneyโ€™s Office in Maryland confirmed that authorities have boarded the Maersk Saltoro. The ship is managed by Synergy Marine Group.

โ€œThe Federal Bureau of Investigation, U.S. Environmental Protection Agencyโ€™s Criminal Investigation Division and Coast Guard Investigative Services are present aboard the Maersk Saltoro conducting court authorized law enforcement activity,โ€ statements from both the FBI and U.S. Attorneyโ€™s Office said.

Authorities did not offer further specifics.

In a lawsuit Wednesday, the U.S. Justice Department has alleged that Dali owner Grace Ocean Private Ltd. and manager Synergy Marine Group, both of Singapore, recklessly cut corners and ignored known electrical problems on the vessel that had a power outage moments before it crashed into a support column on the Francis Scott Key Bridge in March.

At 4:34 pm on January 6, 2021, a cell phone registered to a Capitol rioter who had stormed the building, received a phone call from a White House landline, according to records obtained by CNN.

The call lasted for only nine seconds.

Who placed the call and why remains a mystery, but it is notable as the only known call made from the White House to the phone of a rioter during this critical time period.

According to the records, the call came from 202-456-1414, the publicly available number for the White House. Like many businesses, outgoing calls from the White House do not show a specific extension. The call was placed in the late afternoon, shortly after former President Donald Trump posted a video message on social media telling the rioters at the Capitol, โ€œgo home, we love you, youโ€™re very special,โ€ at 4:17pm.

A lawsuit accusing music mogul Sean โ€œDiddyโ€ Combs of sexual harassment, illegal drug activity and sex trafficking cites Bishop T.D. Jakes as someone who the rapper hoped would help improve his image.

The plaintiff is Rodney โ€œLil Rodโ€ Jones, a music producer who the suit alleges has photo and other evidence of Combsโ€™ activities.

Jakes, a Dallas-based megachurch pastor, is not among the defendants in the suit, which include several record labels and actor Cuba Gooding Jr. as well as Combsโ€™ son Justin Dior Combs and chief of staff Kristina Khorram.
