Here goes my story.

My family on both sides is extremely far left, growing up I was always told to look at government a certain way and my point of view needed to coincide with liberal thinking and the direction they wanted to take our country.

Fast forward to age 15 and I didn't really care much about anything politically and didn't engage in political conversations until I was 18 when I voted against a bill in Texas to give better benefits to first responders. My family was livid but since I wanted to be a responsible voter I read the bill and didn't like that the money would be coming from state supported child services that helped struggling single parents or parents working multiple jobs to stay afloat and needed the help for after school care. I've always felt that it was extremly important for parents to be able to spend time with their kids vs. Being at work all the time while their kids could be influenced in a negative way by others.

2004 I joined the navy further separating my self from my family not only geographically but politically. 2007 I was married and started going to church and got saved and baptized since then I've been very conservative in my thinking and political views. Everyone from my parents down have called me a bigot, racist, and murder because I support the 2nd ammendment and totally out of touch with what's really happening.

I'm still an active duty navy seabee I have gay co-workers and one who transitioning even though I'm very conservative I love them all and would go to the gates of hell with them to fight. I'm honored to not only serve with them but honered to consider them friends and family. My family has a hard time understanding how a Christian can love and have them as friends.

I'm the BLACK SHEEP of the family, I've been blocked and unfriended on facebook by 90% of my family and the others just don't follow my news feed. I can honestly say I don't care I serve with people from all ethnic backgrounds who have grown up in some rough places, I've served with a guy who came from Iraq, and serve with gay people, they are now not only my brothers and sisters in arms but my family it's the military's diversity that makes us so great as a fighting force and if the civilian side could grasp this we would be stronger as a nation.

  • I'm for all the amendments

  • for strong immigration policy

  • I'm for putting Americans first, not politicans but the people and country I serve.

  • I'm for seperating children from adults who illegally come or seek asylum if the adult can't prove parental or guardian rights for the protection of the child from being used or trafficked. If they can't prove legal guardian ship an blood test dont take long to come back.

I'm not a democrat or Republican I'm an American, I'm a solider and I want my country back for my country men and women.

I have an oath to my nation that I will comply with and will never be relieved from, I feel our nation is almost at a tipping point where military and veterans alike will no choice but to fulfill and violent and dangerous oath to protect our great republic from the ones who seek destroy our god given rights.

I like seeing peoples posts from all walks of life, and that despite different views we can find middle ground and still respect our fellow person. It doesn't matter who you are I will always show respect and treat others how I would like to be treated….(the golden rule)
