Omnipresent AI Cameras Will Ensure Good Behavior, Says Larry Ellison

Larry Ellison, the 80-year old billionaire co-founder of Oracle, advocated for a world where artificial intelligence (AI) systems would constantly monitor citizens through an extensive network of cameras and drones, to ensure both police and citizens are on their best behavior. AI models, rather than humans, would analyze footage from security cameras, police body cams, doorbell cameras, and vehicle dash cams.

Big Tech companies are in a race to inject AI models into what seems like every conceivable application. Oracle has a partnership with Elon Musk’s Space X to bring AI to farming.
