Looking for thoughts/suggestions:

Sent Jim a cashiers check via certified mail and it's been sitting in San Francisco for two weeks.

May have to get it cancelled (minus service fee)… Tracking shows it left NY on the 6th and arrived in CA on the 10th but no other USPS info available except it's current location.

Have no clue why it's still in San Francisco…

Certified and registered return-receipt mail is usually handled separately from general bulk mail. One would assume it could make it 6hrs to Santa Monica a little faster since it's generally segregated…I could understand the delay if it had not yet been delivered locally.

Ah well, guess I'll give it another week or so before taking action on my end.
