the thing about finding Jesus:

he'll have to face justice if he did bad things, but as far as how he is with Jesus, you don't get to decide.
I do care that he found to follow Jesus. I think that's wonderful.
but my point: I don't need to tell him that, I don't need to give him praise.
I might do that, I might say 'wow, that's awesome.'
my point: it's not about me that he is following Jesus.

If he's sincere he's not following Jesus because other sinners praise him for doing it
