That's my point, is she complicit?
Unrelated but to the point, I spent an entire military career fighting leadership by myself. Those around me quietly agreed/thanked me but never opened their mouths. I reenlisted in the middle of a dangerous fight w/command, I had the silent majorities support but nobody outside of the military knew what was transpiring, you never will. From the outside, you could say I was complicit when I reenlisted, but in reality, I was the only person they feared because I would openly/publicly call them out. I had no idea then, but I screwed Obama's plans on a couple fronts at a specific base. It wasn't my intention, I just demanded everyone play by the rules and as long as I remained, they did.
I think it would be foolish to find yourself surrounded by people willing to openly murder/eat people and be the lone voice to call them out. My assumption is they would just add you to the menu. Depending on the circumstances, was she really complicit or just trapped in a nightmare. I don't know, but I agree, it all needs to come out and be adjudicated.
