I watched a movie in 1997 when I was 23-years-old that scared the living shit out of me, literally scared me and I lost sleep over it for a period of time. College roommates got a kick out of that and started calling me the last name of the stage name of the fictional character in that movie as a nickname. In their eyes that shouldn't have upset me so much I think, but it did.
Only other movie that scared me like that as an adult was 2015's Concussion. The eyeball in a jar scene reminded me of how many concussions I've sustained over the years.
