For little stuff under 4”, the battery saw is my go-to.
Even cut through a 12-14 inch hickory log with it, because anon was too lazy to put gas and oil in a real saw for two cuts.
Anon is fond of LiFe battery power stations, too.
Between one of those and a little 2000 watt harbor freight generator, had no problems keeping two houses supplied with emergency power during a three day outage.
Saving the food in two refrigerators and two freezers more than paid for the generator and power station.
