>I can appreciate utilizing these bikes, but I think they would have to wait until primary paths are cleared. Mud and debris seem to be a challenge
Mud and debris isn't much of a problem depending on the power of the bike wattage. A 500 watt motor vs an 8k motor is a big difference when it comes to mud. They are just as strong as gas now a days. You really should watch how these navigate forests and rocky terrain, carry small battery operated tools, power stations, and other supplies. When roads are out to big machinery then widdle away, rescue and medics first, supply chains, then debris clearing to make way for bigger vehicles. I did this on 911 and clear not only One Liberty Plaza but Cortland St. Put it all together.
