More than 45,000 International Longshoremen's Association (ILA) members from over three dozen facilities across 14 Gulf and East Coast ports went on strike early Tuesday, marking the largest labor action at US ports in nearly 50 years. The labor action, driven by disputes over automation and wages in a new multi-year labor contract, threatens to disrupt supply chains nationwide. If the strike persists for more than a week, retailers could face shortages of certain goods (read: here), potentially sparking another wave of inflation.

Hey old fags…I was thinking back and remembered that Trudeau's Motorcade was stopped in California and we were told (if I remember correctly) that Trudeau was placed in a boot during this stop…

Justin Trudeau’s Motorcade Involved in Minor Crash in California

Canada’s prime minister, Justin Trudeau, was uninjured after his motorcade was involved in a minor crash in Simi Valley, Calif., on Friday night.

Mr. Trudeau’s motorcade was being escorted by the California Highway Patrol Dignitary Protection Section at 7:30 p.m. after leaving the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute.
