zomygosh I am so exhaughsted, heartbroken…left not sure what to do.
My geriactric Marrema, dog, at 14 years ol cannot traverse stasirs…literally, he's at the end of his life. We know it, no matter how hard it is to accept.
We've taken up sleeping downstairs with him, 'causae he literally cannot traverse the stairs…he can bully his way, but down is scary as shit. So we just don't allow it any more.
BUT, he's been our companion for all of his life, not sleeping with us is a heartbreak to him…omy gosh. We have taken up sleeping on the couches, to be on the same floor as him…he just can't do stairs anymore.
Just sign me heartbroken…there is nothing I can do, but comfort him
