Iran threatens new, harsher strikes on Israel
Iran’s armed forces joint chief of staff warned today that Iran is prepared to repeat its missile attack on Israel with 'higher magnitude' and 'multiplied intensity' if Israel retaliates.
'If the Zionist regime (Israel), that has gone insane, is not contained by America and Europe and intends to continue such crimes, or do anything against our sovereignty or territorial integrity, [Tuesday’s] operation will be repeated with much higher magnitude and we will hit all their infrastructure,” General Mohammad Bagheri said.
'Iran has avoided targeting Israeli civilians although it is "completely feasible", he added.
Israel is said to be planning a 'significant retaliation' against Iran that could involve attacks on the country's oil production facilities and other strategic infrastructure.
