The first parts of the Bible were recorded before Judaism. Who wrote down the genealogy from Adam to Noah? Did Noah bring written records onto the Ark? Noah got very specific instructions and measurements on how to build the Ark. People were very capable of writing down/recording information from the very beginning of Humanity.
