This is a total bullshit story brought to you by the "elect DeSantis" crowd.

Florida ports are a small portion of the strike. The guard wouldn't have made a dent in the production needed to run seamlessly.

 

This was a deal on a much larger scale only able to be done by POTUS. Optics were not good. I'm sure POTUS told them that they would lose right now. After Christmas when he is the President-elect, they would be in a better position with him in the WH understanding what is at stake.

 

DeSantis is small potatoes compared to every port on the east coast and gulf. Laughable.
