I was thinking about howfunny it is that theDiddy Freak Offs got the media everywhere and everyone and their grandma's to basically say Fuck Off. kek
Historically the term Freak Off in black culture and city culture started as Fuck Off.
From the Studio 54 days in NYC, where debauchury also occured.
Everyone who went to Diddy parties, especially if Black, culturally they knew the word FREAK, was really FUCK.
Allblack people know black culture, from parents and grandparents. They take pride in the black acheivments and culture. Nile Rogers having the biggest song ever at the time is one of the cultural trophies. Anyone in music aor the arts or movies and black, they understood the FREAKOFF PARTY, meant FUCK OFF PARTY.
If they say differently, they are lying to you. Especially the music people. THEY all understood. It is music history.
Le Freak. The Freak. ahhhhh…Freak Out.
Nothing new under the sun.
The song Le Freak (The Freak)), huge disco hit hsitory proves this.
I as a small kid owned the 45 of the dico song and I roller sketed to it.
I too, as a very small kid was going around saying Freak Out, but it really meant Fuck Out.
Had zero idea as a kid.
FREAK OUT
Nile Rodgers: how I wrote Le Freak

The word "freak out" in the song "Le Freak" by Chic was originally part of a more explicit refrain that included the word "f***". The song's co-writers, Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, decided to go in a more polite direction.
The song's lyrics were inspired by a memory of Rodgers and a friend being turned away from Studio 54 in New York City. The club was known for its long lines and discourteous doormen. Rodgers and his friend remembered a man slamming the door and saying "Ahhhhh f*** off!". This eventually became "Ahhhhh freak out!".
"Le Freak" is a tribute to Studio 54 and became one of the most iconic disco anthems. It was the first song to top the Hot 100 three times
