NATO member state’s president blocks troops for Ukraine mission

Croatia will not be drawn into war with Russia, Zoran Milanovic has said

”While I am president and the commander in chief, Croatian soldiers, officers and NCOs will not take part in activities that would draw Croatia into a war,” Milanovic said on Thursday.

Milanovic has refused to contribute any personnel to the NATO Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine (NSATU) command, which the bloc established for the purpose of coordinating military aid to Kiev. Zagreb was supposed to send a handful of officers to the 700-strong NSATU staff in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic has accused the president of “further isolating Croatia on the international scene and destroying its credibility as a NATO member.”

Garth Brooks sold stunning Tennessee home for steep discount the day before he was accused of rape

Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood sold their stunning Tennessee home at a steep discount the day before the he was accused of rape.

Brooks, 62, and Yearwood, 60, have finally offloaded their stunning Brentwood mansion for $3.34million on Wednesday after dropping the price several times from its initial 2023 listing price of $4.5million, Realtor.com reported.

The sale came just hours before the singer was accused of raping his and his wife's makeup artist, who claimed he assaulted her in May 2019 during a business trip. The lawsuit was filed on Thursday.

The Grammy Award winner has denied her claims and said the woman, who is only known as 'Jane Roe,' was shaking him down for 'hush money.'

'For the last two months, I have been hassled to no end with threats, lies, and tragic tales of what my future would be if I did not write a check for many millions of dollars,' Brooks told DailyMail.com.

''Hush money, no matter how much or how little, is still hush money. In my mind, that means I am admitting to behavior I am incapable of — ugly acts no human should ever do to another.'

Diddy hotline for victims is flooded with 12,000 calls in just 24 hours

A hotline set up for Sean 'Diddy' Combs' victims was flooded with 12,000 calls in just 24 hours as 120 are already gearing up to sue the rapper.

Lawyer Tony Buzbee publicized a hotline earlier this week, encouraging those who were victims of the rapper, 54, or those who know about his crimes to come forward.

Combs was arrested last month in Manhattan following a probe into his alleged sex trafficking crimes, where he is accused of drugging and raping victims as young as nine.

'When I made the announcement that I was going to pursue these cases, the floodgates really opened,' Buzbee told Law & Crime. 'The volume of calls has been overwhelming and it's been kind of shocking.'

Within 10 days of the hotline going live, Buzbee's team got around 3,200 calls. But after the press conference on Tuesday, they received 12,000 calls in just 24 hours.

'So, our Herculean task is to try to sift through every one of these calls and make sure that we’re identifying those who are victims and those who are witnesses and collect evidence,' he told the outlet.

The Texas-based lawyer has around '100 people working on this task,' and they expect to start filing civil cases within 30 days.
