Not much substance going around as of late.
I wouldn't read too much into the 'playing the part' and this is a 'show' bit.
Not realistic to think that everything that happens is actually not what is really happening, but actually a well-choreographed 'show' just so that what you are seeing fits with what you should be seeing.
Sometimes its easier to concede that its cognitive dissonance.
As a disclosure, i'm not saying gowdy is good or not.
